About Meno-Warriors

What we’re here to do for you

Awareness is a very important foundation. It builds understanding, reduces stigma and discomfort, and makes conversations about menopause at work feel less daunting.

But awareness doesn’t work on its own and doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It needs somewhere to go.

We transform Awareness into Allyship, and Allyship into Action, so you put that knowledge and understanding into practice.

The impact is felt in everyday conversations and interactions throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance, progression, sponsorship and flexibility, ultimately influencing someone’s experience at work and whether they stay or leave.

About the Founder

Cheryl Gurner

Meno-Warriors was founded by Cheryl Gurner, bringing together two areas that rarely meet in a practical way - three decades of HR and organisational experience and specialist menopause expertise.

Cheryl has spent her career working inside complex organisations, including investment banks, global law firms and professional services, dealing with the reality of how people decisions are made, not simply how policies say they should be. Her experience spans recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, restructuring, mobility and the day-to-day decisions that influence someone's experience of work.

Alongside this, she is a Certified Menopause Coach and Certified Menopause Yoga Teacher, with a deep understanding of the physiological, psychological and workplace impact of menopause.

What became clear was that these worlds weren't properly connected. Awareness and wellbeing support provide an important foundation, but that understanding also needs to translate into everyday workplace behaviour and decisions.

That connection between people, menopause and how organisations work is what led to Meno-Warriors being created.
