About Meno Warriors

Why Meno-Warriors exists

Most organisations don’t have a menopause problem. They have a decision-making problem. Policies exist. Awareness exists. Intent is usually good.

But when it comes to performance conversations, promotion decisions, absence management, or restructuring, menopause isn’t being factored in in a consistent, commercially sound way. That gap is where risk builds, and where experience is lost. Meno-Warriors was built to close that gap.

About the Founder

Cheryl Gurner

Meno Warriors was founded by Cheryl Gurner, bringing together two areas that rarely meet in a practical way: operational HR leadership and menopause expertise.

Cheryl has spent her career working inside organisations, dealing with the reality of how decisions actually get made, not how policies say they should. That includes performance management, employee relations, restructuring, and the day-to-day judgement calls that shape culture in practice.

Alongside this, she trained as a menopause specialist, developing a deep understanding of the physiological, psychological, and workplace impact of menopause.

What became clear is that these two worlds weren’t connected.

Menopause was being treated as a wellbeing conversation.
HR was dealing with the consequences, without a clear, usable framework to guide decisions.

That disconnect is what led to Meno Warriors being created.
